One item done, and a bunch left to do

I have been hemming and hawing over what seat belt positioning booster to buy for Emma. The Doc finally told me just to get the Britax as we have been more pleased with their products than Graco- the fabric and construction are holding up nicer, and they have extra safety features. I am not saying that Graco is not a safe product line, as they adhere to the safety regulations set forth by the NSTA. However, Britax conforms their products to European standards which are more strict than the American regulations.

So here is what we bought: Britax Monarch

Apparently this is a very popular seat, as most e-tailers were out of stock. We did manage to find one in the red color that Emma requested. It should arrive in a week or so. If the baby was going to be born in November then I would have signed up for a tan and black one, but one can't have everything they want.

I sure do like that head rest. I always feel so bad when the kids fall asleep and their heads are straight down. It looks incredibly uncomfortable, but what can you do. It doesn't look like their heads will be going anywhere in that chair! Also good in case, praying not, but in case there is an accident, it'll have a nice real close cushion so she's bundled real nice. As always, I love knowing what you buy, always well thought out!
